Best Lightweight Single Stroller

Travel strollers don't get much lighter or more compact than this. Its sleek design is easy to fold into a neat rectangular shape and the wheels spin more easily than some other models.

It also has a large under-seat storage space and a shoulder carry strap that makes it easier to lug around when not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can cause lots of noise which could wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller that is also a compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its small size. The back basket under the seat features a spring-loaded mechanism, which means you can move the basket to put the backpack or diaper bag and then it will pop up to secure the contents. It also has an accessory tray for children and an adjustable backrest pad for the seat and a reclining seat back pad, which offer more options than you normally find on a lightweight stroller.

It also has a canopy that can be closed and opened to ensure that you get the level of sun protection you want. The handlebars are height-adjustable for a comfortable fit in four different positions. We weren't so impressed with its performance on rough surfaces. We felt that the suspension and wheels did not do a very good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

It's a great stroller for travel because it comes in the box fully assembled, and requires only a few steps to get it ready to use. The seat can be moved forward and backwards to alter the recline which is essentially flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. And it fits into the most convenient carrying bag when not in use. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is a great option for those looking for a stroller that is lightweight for travel. It comes with all the features parents desire in a stroller, such as all-terrain wheels and front suspension to ensure an easy ride. It's also incredibly light, at less than 12 pounds. It also has a handy one-hand and self-standing fold. It also has two tray for parents and children. tray, each with two cup holders.

Its build quality isn't very high, and it did not perform well in our test of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting heavy weights. It may be fine if you only use the stroller on paved sidewalks. But for most people it is not comfortable.

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the perfect travel stroller for parents who are always moving. This ultra-compact stroller folds down and up easily and fits into the overhead compartments of planes or trunks in amusement parks (no need to worry about parking fees). It also comes with an easy-zip carrying bag for easy storage. It is able to be used from birth with the infant car seat adapter, and offers a good amount of sun protection thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only issue is that some parents consider the design to be uninspiring and cheap.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than the other lightweight single sit and stand stroller strollers. However, it was specifically designed for urban living and luxe travel. It is one of the easiest strollers to fold, and comes with a handy carry case. It is packed with storage space and a cup holder. The seat reclines almost flat for both children and adult. This is the only stroller on our list with an adapter for car seats to allow it to be used with infants. Some parents with short legs may not appreciate the handlebar that isn't adjustable.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller, however it has a lot of great features to make traveling with children easier. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and comes with additional padding to make the naps on planes last longer. The canopy extends to provide adequate sun protection, and the tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also features a spring-loaded footrest that doubles as a handle when folded. This footrest, however, seems vulnerable to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller with a high-end design and quality. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, but its sturdy construction means it can take on rough terrain without compromising your child's safety. Front and rear spring-action suspensions create a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, and its durable materials mean that it can stand up to every day wear and tear without losing its shape. Additionally it can be extended to accommodate additional items such as a bassinet or infant car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was a breeze to single fold pushchair and move around. Its squat nearly square fold that folds into thirds, is one of the most simple folds we've seen and allows it to easily fit into overhead compartments on planes or public transportation. It has a single push chair-action color-coded brake that is simple to use.

The seat reclines in multiple positions and the leg rest can be adjusted using one hand, making it easy to find your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ canopy is lowered quite a bit to protect Cora's face from sun. The medium-sized mesh window is attached magnetically to the canopy and shuts without the need for noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs in at just 15 pounds and comes with a built-in handle for easy carrying. It also has a shoulder strap. It can also be stowed in the trunk of your vehicle. It comes with a storage bag as well as access to the Uppababy TravelSafe program that provides two years of manufacturer's warranty. It also covers repairs for items damaged during air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy, the well-known brand of strollers, produces a variety of models. This lightweight model is a great choice for parents looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport kids around, offers ample storage, is easy to maneuver and doesn't require a high engineering degree to fold. It's not the best choice when you're looking for an automobile seat-compatible model or a double stroller, however. It isn't compatible with infant car seats. Your baby must be able to sit up on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller comes with some great features and an impressive price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other models with similar specifications. It's also a great option for smooth paved surfaces. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage including a large parent tray. The handlebar is smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is stiffer but it's still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins or two kids of different ages, you may find that a side-by-side single stroller for sale is the best single pushchair option to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which offers plenty of features and a narrow footprint that can fit where most other side-by-side options can't.

It has a huge canopy and a peek-aboo window and plenty of storage. It's heavier than the other side-bysides but has a decent capacity and weight limit. It can carry the majority of children up to 50 pounds. You can even add a bassinet to the front of the stroller for infants.

If you're looking for an even more luxurious version of this stroller, the Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is a worthy alternative. It has the same great features and can be outfitted with a bassinet so that you can take your baby home with style from the hospital.
