There are a lot of things to take into consideration when choosing the perfect double buggy from birth. We spoke to Fourth Trimester postnatal retreat expert Katie Billingsley for her advice on everything from seating options, age ranges to folding mechanisms and storage space.

What style of buggy do you prefer?

A double buggy is ideal for transporting two children, not necessarily of the same age, side by side. They can be used as prams and come with a reclining mechanism within each seat, allowing your children can sit or lay down in various positions. They're often spacious enough to store everything from snacks and drinks to nappies and wipes. They're usually lightweight they fold easily and are small enough to fit in the car boot. If you're someone who drives a lot, it's worth checking that the buggy's maneuverability with the wheels folded and to take in and out of your boot.
