Best Lightweight Single Stroller

This is the lightest and compact stroller that you can buy. Its sleek design allows it to fold into an elegant rectangle shape and the wheels are much easier to turn than other models.

The stroller also has an ample storage space under the seat, as well as an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry around when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjustment can make a lot of noise, which could wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller that is also a compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its size. Its back under-seat basket is spring loaded, so you can lower it to put a diaper bag or backpack into and it will then pop up to protect the contents. It also comes with a child accessory tray and adjustable reclining seat back pad, which are more options than what you usually see on a stroller with a light weight.

In addition, it has an excellent canopy that is able to open and close to give you the level of sun protection you require, and the handlebar is height-adjustable in four positions for a comfortable fit. We weren't as impressed with its performance on rough terrain. We felt that the wheels and suspension did not do a good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

This is a great choice for those looking for a stroller that is light and easy to carry. It has all the features that parents want in a stroller. However, the handle is lower than other strollers we tested and some parents might be uncomfortable for long durations. It does come with a handle lock to keep it in place when opened, though. This is a great feature if you plan to use the stroller on uneven or rough terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents on the move. The stroller is compact and folds up and down easily and fits into the overhead compartments of planes or trunks in amusement parks (no need to worry about parking charges). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and provides excellent sun protection with its canopy. The only drawback for some parents is that they feel the style to be dated and unfashionable.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other single strollers with lightweights however, it was created specifically for luxurious urban living and travel. It's among the smallest strollers that fold (and includes a convenient carry case) and has a nice amount of storage space, including cups holder. The seat is comfortable for the child and the adult, and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller in our list that comes with a car seat adapter to allow it to be used with a newborn. Some parents with shorter legs might not appreciate the handlebar that does not adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it comes with a number of amazing features that assist parents in traveling with their children. Its spacious seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and it comes with extra padding so that the naps on planes last longer. The canopy extends to provide adequate sun protection, while the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has an adjustable handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. The footrest, however, is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller that is stylish and has a premium design and quality. Its compact design allows it to easily maneuver through narrow streets and tight spaces and its robust structure allows it to withstand rough terrain without compromising the safety of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions create a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, while its sturdy materials ensure it can withstand everyday wear and tear without losing its shape. It can also be enlarged to accommodate other accessories like baby car seat.

In our tests in our tests, the Minu was easy to maneuver and fold, even with a baby in the hand. Its squat fold, which splits into three parts is among the easiest we tested. This allows it to be easily tucked away in overhead compartments of planes and public transport. It also comes with a color-coded single seat buggy-action brake that's simple to use.

It is simple to move, has plenty of storage space, and is not difficult to fold. It's not the ideal choice if you want a car seat-compatible model, or a double stroller. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your children should be able to sit upright on their backs before you can use it.

This stroller has some solid features, and it comes with a hefty price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other models with similar specifications. It's also a great choice for smooth surfaces. It has a huge parent tray, canopy and plenty of storage. The front wheel suspension is a bit stiff, and the handlebar is smaller in diameter than the norm, but it offers an enjoyable ride for adults.

If you have twins, or two children of different ages, you might find a side by side stroller is the best way for them to travel in. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which has a variety of features and a small footprint that fits in places that other side-by-side options can't.

It has a big canopy that has a peek-aboo view, and tons of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-bysides but it has a good weight capacity and can be used by children up to 50 lbs. You can also add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller to accommodate newborns.

The Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller offers a luxurious version of the stroller. It comes with the same great features as this model and can be fitted with a bassinet that allows you to take your baby home from the hospital in style.
